Nokwanda Ntanzi is from KwaZulu Natal (Mpangeni). She studied a BA in Intercultural Communication, majoring in Communication Science, at the University of Zululand. She graduated in May 2019 and, in the same year, she completed an Honours degree in Communication Science. She is currently a Masters candidate at the same institution, while working as a science journalist and an intern at Mgungundlovu Community Radio Station.
The internship is her first work experience and she feels privileged to get an opportunity to work for Mgungudolovu FM and SAASTA, especially specialising in the field of science reporting. She is keen to learn about new developments in science and play her part in growing science, technology and innovation in South Africa.
