Thabo Ottis Mbuyane

Thabo Ottis Mbuyane was born and raised in Mshadza Trust, Mpumalanga. He fell in love with science and technology in childhood. In high school, he studied science and went on to study a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at North-West University and graduated 2019.

Ottis is currently a science journalist at Voice of Community Radio based in Ermelo, where he is reporting on science stories and simplifying them for the listeners of Voice of Community Radio in a language that they understand, namely SiSwati. He is a host of the ‘Science Corner’ programme that delves in science stories. He is looking forward to grow and develop his expertise in the fields of Journalism and Communications.
