Lerato Dladla
Voice of the Community radio station
Lerato Dladla is from a small town called Ermelo in Mpumalanga Province. She obtained her BSc degree in Life and Environmental Sciences, with double majors in Human Physiology and Psychology, in 2018 and a BSc Honours degree in Physiology in 2019 from the University of Johannesburg.
She is ambitious, hardworking, enthusiastic, reliable and goal-driven. She is always eager to learn and to enhance her skills. She has joined the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) as a science Journalism intern and will be hosted by the Voice of the Community radio station in Ermelo, producing science and technology related stories.
She enjoys travelling, listening to music and watching sports. Lerato is thrilled to join SAASTA and is grateful for the opportunity to share her knowledge and to raise awareness about the importance of science and technology in her community in a language that they speak and understand.
