The International Partnerships of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells in the Economy (IPHE), established in 2003, is an international inter-governmental partnership currently consisting of 18-member countries and the European Commission. Its objective is to facilitate and accelerate the transition to clean and efficient energy and mobility systems using hydrogen and fuel cell technologies across applications and sectors.

Where ? CSIR International Convention Centre, Pretoria, South Africa

When ?  12 – 14 December 2018

SFSA2018 positions itself between an academic / research conference (where research papers are presented) and a science engagement meeting (where science is made popular, often with a focus on the youth). SFSA2018 is, therefore, a celebration of science, technology, and innovation where we ignite conversations about science on the middle ground between academics, policy, and popular science engagement.

Its core focus is to develop communication skills, but it also provides a platform to share stories about world-class South African research.

Scifest Africa

Scifest Africa is the largest science festival in Africa, and the 2018 National Science Festival offered an interactive festival programme consisting of 64 exhibitions and 701 events. The 2019 theme will celebrate the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements as proclaimed by the United Nations.
