Thato Mokoena

Thato Mokoena is a 23-year-old journalism graduate from the Tshwane University of Technology. Thato is from Ga-Rankuwa in Pretoria and she graduated from the university with a National Diploma in Journalism in 2018 and a B-Tech in journalism in 2019. She majored in broadcasting and advanced writings: features and reviews. She was a news reporter for TUT FM and Soshanguve community radio  station.

She is currently a science journalism intern for the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) hosted by Mams FM. She has a keen interest in keeping people informed about what is happening in the world. Thato has an interest in travelling the world and meeting different people from different cultures.
