Bakang Ditibane

Bakang Ditibane was born in 1998 in Chuene Thokgwaneng, outside Polokwane, Limpopo province, and was raised in Ramatlabama Village in Mafikeng, North West province. He is a self-motivated and dedicated person. He matriculated in 2015 from Batloung Junior Secondary school and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication in 2018 from the North West University.

He is a science and technology journalist intern hosted by Vaaltar FM in Taung, North West province. His duties as a science journalist are to gather stories about science and technology, conduct interviews and further disseminate news to the community radio station’s audience in Setswana, the indigenous language that the community in the area understands. He has great interest in science and technology news and is very optimistic about his journalism career, and aims to achieve great heights in the field through hard work, dedication and passion.
