The Mpumalanga festival started in 2009 in Mpumalanga, Nelspruit. After three successful years of the festival at the Lowveld show grounds in Nelspruit, the festival has found a new home at the Mbombela stadium and has also spread to other regions in the province.
Sasol Techno X, is an exhibition that focuses on displays, workshops, tours, talks and hands-on activities aimed at enthusing learners, students and the general public about the endless possibilities of science and technology.
Scifest Africa promotes the public awareness, understanding and appreciation of science, technology and innovation (STI). The project is supported by South Africa’s National Department of Science and Technology and various other cash and in kind sponsors.
ScopeX is a public outreach initiative designed to promote interest in astronomy, telescope making, astrophotography and related disciplines within Southern Africa.
