4th Annual Mandela-UNIVEN Science Outreach

The Mandela-UNIVEN Science Outreach aims to develop sustainable future scientific cohorts from the ground up. The  Green Technology Confucius Institute at the University of Venda (GTCI-UNIVEN) and Nelson Mandela University (NMU) are together hosting yet another science awareness outreach in the Vhembe East and West education districts of the Limpopo province. In collaboration, we bring science awareness and career discussions with all secondary school learners, their teachers and the communities to encourage them to continue steadily in STEM subjects towards FET studies. The discussions will start at Thengwe Secondary schools, Mbilwi Secondary School, Former Makhado College of Education and Luvhivhini Secondary School where learners from the areas surrounding the venues will gather and engage stakeholders such as DFFE, DBE, ARC, SANBI, CSIR, NRF-SAASTA, SANSA, NSTF, VSRC, UNISA, NMU and UNIVEN.
