Tuberculosis is not just a human disease. Cattle also contract a similar type of bacteria, called bovine tuberculosis. Evidence suggests that it can be transmitted from cattle to humans as well as wildlife and vice versa.

The South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (NRF-SAASTA), in collaboration with the South African Environmental Observation Network (NRF-SAEON), both business units of the National Research Foundation (NRF) wishes to invite the grade 10, 11 and 12 Geography educators to join in a personal (face-to-face) workshop that introduces a free online learning programme on GIS.

This workshop is intended only for Tshwane Region, other regions will be catered at a later stage.
