New MD for SAASTA

	Dr Jabu Nukeri.

Dr Jabu Nukeri, current Manager of SAASTA's Education Unit has been appointed Managing Director of the organisation from 1 May 2012.

In his new position, Jabu will be responsible for the day-to-day running of SAASTA and its three units: Science Communication, Science Education and Science Awareness Platforms.

This step follows on the appointment of Beverley Damonse as the Group Executive: Science Advancement at the National Research Foundation (NRF).
