Pertunia Matshidiso Segabutla is 26 years old. She grew up in a small village called Oorlog in Limpopo. During her high school days, Pertunia volunteered at Moutse Community Radio Station for a period of 2 years, together with a group of learners calling themselves The Juveniles, where they addressed issues affecting the youth.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and post-graduate degree at the University of Limpopo (Turfloop Campus) in 2015.Pertunia served as a class representative for Translation 201 and 202 in the year 2013; she also served under the students’ housing committee in 2014 and 2015, and she has received accolades for all her services.

In 2017 she served as a field agent for Hollard and later in the same year she got an opportunity for a communication internship at the Department of Education in Limpopo. She wrote articles for the department’s newsletter, photography, branding, public relations and media content management .She also assisted with back to school campaigns and the announcements of the matric results.

In June 2019, Pertunia wrote her own drama which has not yet been played. After a few months of being jobless she got a job as a telesales consultant at Clientele. Pertunia is currently a science journalism intern at SAASTA. She is hosted by Moutse Community Radio Station.
