Astronomers can help people to understand many things, arouse their curiosity and share the pleasures of discovering new things. On television, it is important to meet the expectations of the public and bring the astronomy home to everyday life as much as possible, for example the observation of the crescent moon for Muslims the day before Ramadan. It is also a good idea to include questions suggested by the viewers. Let the spectators become actors in the story.

We found that the "Astro-Flash" programme, similar to a weather forecast, worked really well to give people some information about what they can see in the sky during the coming week.
