If you're being interviewed live on the radio: listen very carefully to what they're asking, and answer very specifically; we've all heard interviews of academics who waffle, and the stress in the interviewer's voice is obvious as you can almost hear them thinking "How can I stop this person???" For live interviews, write all the facts down (if you're like me, you'll forget the facts if you're under the stress of an interview; I've even forgotten our phone number!!); have a pen and paper handy if it's a talk show;
