Focusing on SA’s special science themes

The South African Department of Science and Technology (DST) has once again declared four thematic months for 2007, namely Antarctica Month (June), Marine Biosciences Month (August), African Origins Month (September) and Astronomy Month (October). DST and the South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) are inviting creative proposals for organising and implementing projects during 2007, which will contribute towards raising public awareness around the four themes. Up to four proposals can be submitted per applicant, one in each thematic category.
