- National Zoological Gardens
- The ZooMobile Outreach Projects will visit various primary schools to offer the programme: “The Magic of Owls”. This programme will link various themes ranging from biodiversity to physical and behavioural adaptations, from conservation problems to conservation solutions, from owls as an integral part of the ecosystem to owls in culture and folklore.
- FET learners will gain an insight into the biological research done at the National Zoological Gardens. The programme consists of 3 presentations, namely (1) data banking and record keeping of zoo animals, (2) veterinary pathology and (3) genetic research.
- An educators workshop will be held on the topic “The Aquatic Environment”. It will equip educators with a better understanding of the aquatic environment and will highlight the scientific and technological applications in a modern aquarium.

- Hartebeesthoek Radio Astronomy Observatory: HartRAO
- Open Day: members of the community will be treated to an educational & entertaining day at HartRAO including activities and a tour around the facilities. General public from nearby community.
- Learners will be given a general presentation on Hartrao followed by a career talk given by a professional scientist. They will also be given worksheets relating to the activities conducted at the visitors center like: launching rockets, learn about rotational dynamics using a turntable, effects of vacuum and how the earth is oriented in space.

Outreach to Khutsong: portable activities like turntables and rocket launchers to demonstrate basic physics principles. There will also be an astronomy presentation and career talk. Mafikeng: teacher workshop on the curriculum topic “Earth & Beyond”.
