SKA SA exhibits at BRICS trade, tourism and investment Expo

The Premier of the Northern Cape Province, Mrs Sylvia Lucas and the MEC of the Northern Cape Education Department, Ms Grizelda Cjiekella both visited the SKA SA exhibition stand at the BRICS EXPO.

They were hosted by Mr Takalani Nemaungani from the South African Department of Science and Technology (DST).

The intention of the BRICS EXPO was to improve trade, investment and the exchange of technology between the BRICS members, to enhance their human capital (intellectual property, research, innovation, technology, education and training), infrastructure and industrialisation.

The BRICS EXPO was held from 29 to 31 October 2014 in Kimberley in the Northern Cape. Sam Rametse, Professional Officer (Schools and Outreach) and Carla Sharpe, Business Development Manager, represented SKA SA.
