The South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement (SAASTA) aims to advance public awareness, appreciation and engagement of science, engineering and technology in South Africa. SAASTA is business Unit of the National Research Foundation.

SASA congress: Call for papers
The 18th Congress of the South African Sociological Association (SASA) will run from the 1 – 4 July, 2012. It is hosted by the Department of Sociology at the University of Cape Town.
Abstract deadline: 12th April, 2012.
Early bird registration: 3rd May, 2012.
