Biosciences Month celebrates South Africa's involvement in this field of science, research being conducted and the new frontiers being explored. In the interests of getting South Africans, especially the youth, excited about Biosciences, we have produced the following cartoon strips, information sheets and booklet.

Turtle animation
In celebration of Marine Biosciences Month 2007, SAASTA produced a series of animations which were flighted on national television during August. The animation is available for download, but please be warned that it is a large file and will take some time to download.

Biosciences cartoon series
The 400 million year old fish, studying fish larvae and the endangered turtles of St Lucia. This series of three cartoon strips reveals some of the exciting activities being undertaken by bioscientists in SA.
